Unfortunatley any damage or condition to your van (such as scratches, dents, rust) cannot be added to your online valuation, it can only be added when you attend one of our branches. Standardisation of condition prices for vans is very difficult due to the diversity of vans specification and in how vans are used.

We will therefore always carry out an on-site inspection of a vehicle before we offer to buy it. If we consider that its value is affected by any aspect of its history or condition, including any unusual feature or customisation, which was not apparent to us when we gave the online valuation, the price that we offer for it will differ from the online valuation. We guarantee we are willing to buy every van we value. So that we don’t waste your time, if there is a change in the market value of your van resulting in a reduced valuation, then we endeavour to let you know what the new valuation is at least 24 hours before your appointment, so that you have the opportunity to cancel, if you choose to do so.

It's really simple. Enter your van's registration number into our website and provide us with a few details about your van such as, service history, MOT and mileage.

We will take all of this into account and email you with our valuation along with instructions on how to make an appointment.

Unlike other valuation websites, we don't just offer you an electronic guide price; we take the information you provide us about your van into account before we send you a valuation. This process is completely free of charge and there is no obligation to sell your van to us.

A transaction fee may be payable, if you decide to sell your van to us. Our standard payment terms utilise Future Dated Faster Payment which takes 4 working days after the day of sale to arrive at your bank account. For an additional fee of £24.75 we can provide you with the option of receiving payment via next working day payment.

We buy and sell hundreds of vans every day and therefore we have access to the real value that vans are currently achieving in the market.
If you attend an appointment our team of expert onsite vehicle purchasers take all the details that you enter into the website into account and individually price your van based on the information at their fingertips.

We hold information on all UK vans manufactured since 1982. If you are unable to find your van it may be because:

  • Your van is not of UK origin (imported)
  • Your van is over 25 years old

If you can't get an online valuation from our website, simply email your local branch using our branch locator with your van details (make, model, mileage, and condition) and a contact number and one of our team of expert vehicle purchasers will get back to you with a valuation.

Please do not choose the nearest model to your van in an attempt to obtain an online valuation as this will not reflect an accurate valuation for your van.

Valuation emails usually arrive within moments but can take up to 20 minutes in exceptional circumstances. If you have not received an email by this time, you may have entered your email address incorrectly on the website or it may have been intercepted by the spam or junk email filter on your computer. 'Spam' filters are designed to stop junk email from arriving in your inbox but may occasionally block legitimate emails in error.

Our emails are carefully worded to minimise the possibility of ending up in your spam filter, but there are some things you can check if you think this has happened. Within your email software, you may have a folder called 'Junk Email', 'Spam' or something similar. If you do, check inside it for our email. If it is, your software should allow you to mark webuyanyvan.com as a trusted sender for future messages. Some spam filters may divert email to your 'Deleted Items' folder, which is also worth checking.

If you have still not received our email after checking the above please email talktous@webuyanyvan.com and we'll be happy to assist.

The van market changes on a daily basis which means our valuation will change over time. However, our price guarantee means that your valuation will be guaranteed for 7 days. In order to get the most accurate valuation we advise you re-enter your van details onto our site to get an up-to-date valuation as prices can go up as well as down.

Valuations issued from webuyanyvan.com are subject to an inspection of the van and should not be construed as a contract. The condition of your vehicle must be confirmed by a member of our valuation team prior to purchase.

Appointments are not always necessary, so if you haven't made an appointment online, you can just call into your local branch. We do however advise that you check with the branch before you travel to ensure that they are open and you are not waiting around. You can find your local branches contact details by using our branch locator

Yes, please contact the branch directly to reschedule your appointment or use the manage appointment section on the website

Once you've received your valuation by email, you will be able to click on the link in the email which allows you to make an appointment at a time and place that is convenient to you. Once you've made an appointment, we will send you an email confirming your appointment details and one of our vehicle purchasers onsite will give you a courtesy call to answer any questions you may have and ensure you bring all the necessary documentation with you.

The selling process usually takes just 20 minutes. You will accompany one of our trained vehicle purchasers to your van whilst they conduct an inspection of the vehicle. You will then be invited to join our vehicle purchaser as they conduct a short test drive in your van. Please note that a road tax licence (valid tax disc) must be in place in order for us to test drive your van. If we can’t test drive the van, it will affect the price we can offer. After the test drive, you return inside the office where the vehicle purchaser will offer you a price which may differ from your online valuation if we consider that its value is affected by any aspect of its history or condition, including any unusual features or customisation, which was not apparent to us when we gave the online valuation. If you are happy and wish to sell your van to us, they will complete all the necessary paper work for the sale.

It's important that we establish that the person selling the vehicle is actually the owner, therefore we require the following details:

  • Two forms of identification. One must be an original photo ID such as a passport. You must also provide one proof of address items; accepted forms include a utility bill or council tax letter dated within the last 90 days. Please note they must match the name and address on the logbook.
  • Road Tax disc
  • Both sets of van keys if available
  • All service history and MOT certificates if available
  • Bank details
  • V5 logbook/registration certificate. If the V5 logbook/registration certificate is still in the owner's maiden name, you will need to bring a copy of your marriage certificate.
  • If the vehicle has any finance outstanding we will require a letter with the settlement figure from the finance company

Don't forget to take out all of your personal belongings before you come to the appointment.

The V5 (log book) holds the details of the registered keeper of the vehicle. To prevent fraud, we will only purchase a vehicle from you if it is your name on the V5. If you wish to sell your van and there is a legitimate reason why you are not the registered keeper, please email your local branch using our branch locator with full details and we'll do our best to help.

When you click on the link in your valuation email you can see the appointment slots available. Please check the specific branch for opening times.

We have a national network of branches. When you click on the link in your valuation email to book an appointment, we will match your postcode to the branch nearest to you. You can then arrange an appointment at a time and location that suits you best. You can also use our branch locator to find your nearest branch.

All our branches have excellent transport links. Please remember to arrange your transport home prior to your appointment as we are unable to offer transportation home in most cases. However, we will arrange for a local taxi to come and collect you if required.

When you arrive at the branch just check-in with one of our vehicle purchasers who will take you through your appointment.

We need your email address so that we can send your van valuation to you, once it has been calculated. We ask for your telephone number so that we can get in touch with you if we have any queries about your van.

Please note, we fully adhere to the 1998 Data Protection Act and will not divulge any of your personal details to third parties.

We Buy Any van Ltd is the UK's favourite online van buyer, established in 2006.

When you bring your van down to one of our branches you will receive a purchase invoice which will have the details of the transaction. The terms and conditions are also clearly marked on here. Payment will be made directly to your bank account within 4 working days after the day of sale, using our standard service, or on the same working day* (subject to terms and conditions) if you choose our optional same day payment service at an additional fee of £24.75.

We use the most secure method possible - electronic bank transfer. We'll arrange payment direct to your bank account which takes 4 working days after the day of sale. There is no charge for this service and it protects you from the risk of carrying around large sums of cash or losing a cheque.

If you need your money quicker, we offer an optional same day* (subject to terms and conditions) payment service at an additional cost of £24.75. When you choose our next working day payment service, the payment will be made directly to your bank account.

We can arrange settlement of any outstanding finance on your van. Please note that you will need to provide an in date letter detailing a current settlement figure from your finance company. The settlement amount will be deducted from the amount paid to you, for your van. We will pay your finance company within 4 working days after the day of sale, however it may take your finance company 5-10 working days to credit the funds to your account and provide final clearance.

No. You can walk away at any point of the process.

There is no transaction fee if you choose not to sell your van to us.

If you do decide to sell to us, then a transaction fee may apply at the point of sale. The transaction fee depends on the final price:

  • There is no transaction fee applicable for vans valued below £99.99 (subject to minimum valuation of £50)
  • A transaction fee of £49.99 is applicable for vehicles valued at £100.00 to £4999.99
  • Where the Price is £5,000 or more, the transaction fee is £74.99

Yes! However we are currently unable to offer a collection service so you’ll need to make your own arrangements to get the van to your nearest drop-off point.

At present, we only buy vans registered in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

If you have been the registered keeper for less than 2 months and your vehicle is valued over £3,000 or you have been the registered keeper for less than 6 months and your vehicle is valued at £10,000 or above then we may require a copy of your original purchase invoice which should be from a recognised dealer.

If we require any additional documentation, we will advise you as soon as we can.

We cannot accept proof of purchase from an Auction House.

If you owe more on your finance than the value of the van, we will still be happy to buy the van, but you will need to pay us the shortfall by debit card when we purchase your van.

We will still buy your van as long as it is registered in the UK. Bear in mind that models and specifications vary from country to country, so the price may differ from that of a UK supplied van in some circumstances.

There are two types of import: a "parallel" import (i.e. purchased within the EU) and a "grey" import (i.e. purchased outside the EU). Vans which are parallel imports can be valued normally through www.webuyanyvan.com online. However, "grey" imports will require a manual valuation. If your van is a "grey" import it's not a problem - simply email talktous@webuyanyvan.com with the details which can be found on your V5 registration document and one of our team of expert vehicle purchasers will be in touch.

We may complete any necessary work to the vehicle in order to get it in the best condition to sell.

We'll be happy to give you a valuation and buy your van whilst it has a personalised registration.

However, if you want to keep your private plate it's easy to reassign it to another van or to put the registration onto a retention certificate so that it can be sold or reassigned at a later date. You would need to complete this with the DVLA prior to selling to us.
To find out more about personalised registrations and locate your local DVLA office, visit the DVLA website
